We enjoyed a painting session where we were free to create at our own pace, while learning powerful techniques for emotional well-being from our special guest speaker, Kat Hudson, a professional art therapist.
Whether we were experienced painters or new to the canvas, the evening was a perfect blend of relaxation, self-expression, and meaningful connection.
Date: Thursday, 14 November 2024
Time: 6.00 PM – 8.30 PM
Location: Art Play, Old Spitalfields Market, 16 Horner Square, Inside The Market, London E1 6EW
Event Overview:
This wasn’t your typical Sip & Paint—this workshop emphasised the healing power of art. By creating in an unguided, freeform way, we discovered how art can serve as a personal tool for processing emotions and enhancing emotional resilience.
Kat provided expert tips and insights to help us incorporate creative practices into our lives, supporting our mental and emotional well-being long after the event.
Arrival & Welcome: The PWN London team welcomed guests as they arrived.
Introduction: Cherisse introduced PWN London, followed by Kat’s speaker session.
Painting Session Setup: Guests set up for painting, with Kat suggesting a few creative topics to inspire their artwork.
Drinks & Socialising: Prosecco was served as everyone painted and socialised.
Reflection & Sharing: At the end of the session, Kat offered time for reflection, inviting guests to share their experiences if they wished
